Founded in the wake of the National Charter and proudly celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2019, Post 45 stands as one of the earliest American Legion locations in the nation. We honor our legacy while embracing the future—providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for veterans, their families, and community supporters.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: To connect, uplift, and educate through fellowship, outreach, and service.

With active participation from the Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion, Legion Auxiliary, and Legion Riders, we are united in our commitment to honor those who served and strengthen the community we call home.

What We Do

🏛️ Historic Roots, Modern Mission

One of the first locations established after the National Charter
Recently relocated to a beautiful Victorian-style property on 8th Street, offering over 11,000 square feet of usable space
The new facility includes a main bar, lounge, computer lab, gaming area, and event space—all designed to foster community and connection

🎖️ Veteran-Centered Outreach

Offers educational programs, social events, and support services for veterans in need
Connects members with resources like Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) and other Legion programs

🎉 Community Engagement

Hosts bingo nights, live music, and event rentals
Welcomes both members and the public to participate in activities that honor service and build camaraderie
