Eligibility

• 🏍️ Eligibility for American Legion Riders Membership

• To qualify, you must meet all of the following:

• 1. Legion Family Membership

• You must be a current member in good standing of:

• The American Legion

• American Legion Auxiliary

• Sons of The American Legion

• 2. Motorcycle Ownership

• You must be:

• A legally registered motorcycle owner, or

• The spouse of a legally registered owner (within the same state of registration)

• 3. Licensing & Insurance

• All operators must:

• Hold a valid motorcycle license

• Be properly insured according to state laws

• 4. Compliance with Traffic Laws

• Riders and passengers must obey all motor-vehicle laws in the state where they ride

• Beyond eligibility, ALR members are known for:

• Escorting returning military units and honoring fallen heroes

• Supporting veteran causes and local charities

• Participating in events like the Legacy Run and Rolling Thunder
